It is the genetic prepotency of our bulls and their sons and
grandsons which allows us, as part of THE BEST BLACK BULLS IN
AMERICA SALE, to issue the...
CATTLEMAN'S CHALLENGE
For the last thirteen years, we have sold at public auction a set
of black bulls that many in the industry, including commercial
cattlemen and prominent university professors have described as
the best set of black bulls they have ever seen. We believe in
our program and have worked for the past 25 years to produce the
best bulls available anywhere. Our goal was to be recognized as
better than any Angus bulls anywhere. Everything we see and our
customer feedback tells us we have succeeded - but we also know
no matter how good your breeding program is, it can always be improved
- both deeper and broader. To help us go beyond our normal customer
feedback, we continue this challenge...If you attend our sale as
a registered bidder and purchase a Willow Oak black bull and within
the next year, prior to our February 2009 sale you are the first
bull customer to find a set of Angus bulls for sale that are equal
to or better than our set of bulls in this sale, we will give you
a Willow Oak Black Bull for Free.
Go ahead - be the first to find us a better set of Angus bulls
and you get your WILLOW OAK BLACK BULL FOR
FREE. (This offer is
good for the first buyer to provide the performing data. If you
are first, you can keep the Willow Oak bull you purchased at our
sale and we will give you your money back or the amount
of the sale average for bulls in our 2008 sale whichever is less.)

While
keeping an eye on structure and data, the two traits that have
been addressed most directly by our program have been temperament
and calving ease. These bulls excel in both characteristics. This
information is best obtained from our customers. We have and the
reports are excellent.
